    I dont know countys but have seen pictures of the Lake District and would love to go there

    I spent a week in Devon, absolutely beautiful/stunning – would love to go back there for another holiday sometime.

    Can you not walk amongst stonehenge and touch? and is it not free?

    I live in North Yorkshire Eve but I often drive into Cumbria (Lakes) just for somewhere different to shop

    Can you not walk amongst stonehenge and touch? and is it not free?

    At Stonehenge you can only walk amongst the stones on specially arranged visits outside normal opening hours and you cannot touch the stones.
    It’s an English Heritage site so you can visit for free if you’re a member of the English Heritage or the National Trust, otherwise there’s a charge of £7.50.

    You can visit Avebury any time you want, no charge, and walk amongst the stones and touch them.
