We have been fortunate this year and have had a very mild winter with only a few days of snow, which living in a village through which there are no main roads is a good thing as they do not get gritted or cleared.
The late afternoon sun is shining though the temperature is about 6C and will drop to about -2C overnight with a dusting of snow predicted for 7am tomorrow.
Already we have a nice spread of colour from the primula’s and snowdrop,s, and the daffodils will be out soon.
Within the next couple of weeks we will have to prune back the grape vines
