Without knowing the exact nature of your problem, this is the best advice

Set Hardware acceleration to Full.http://www.computerschool.net/computer/moniitors.html
Hope this helps. :wink:12 April, 2005 at 7:21 am #108869I tried to do what owen told me but my hardware acceleration is already on full and when i set a higher refresh rate the screen goes blank then back to the rate it was before
12 April, 2005 at 1:30 pm #108870Then your monitor refresh rate is set to max.
Don’t know what else you can do.
Try Google I do. :wink:13 April, 2005 at 6:28 pm #108871You have a small screen (14″) you may want to check if the game supports the resolution your screen is set to. If you know your comps, try setting the screen resolution to 960×600 instead of 768×1024 to see if the monitor displays the game properly.
It may be worth investigating the colour depth because old style monitors have problems running some games on a 32 bit colour depth when running at maximum resolutions.
If none of these work, try drop kicking it, and go buy yourself a 17″ monitor.
Always make a note of your current settings before changing them.
14 April, 2005 at 6:50 pm #108872I was thinking of doing that anyway it is an old monitor but i don’t understand that it plays games like vice city but not a crap game like tony hawks 3

Follow my post above jamie this should sought it. You may need to experiment with the colour depth but i would of thought resizing your resolution would of done the job. Check the resolution that works best with the game it should be found on the back cover of the box in small print somewere.
