Microsoft updating problems

All of you are so kind so may you help be with my computer?

I have the Windows 98 – the Second Edition which is the latest and best one of the 98 version. My friend and colleague put it on my new computer some months ago and he promised me to update this often.

Sadly he has been taken away by the regional police – he was wrongly accused of stealing which he would never do such a thing. Now I do not know how to bring down the updates from the internet connection.

We are very modern here in Nigeria with all the later models and newest technicals but Microsoft won’t let us have the update on our very modern and fast connectors.

Can anybody please tell me how to get these things
