Well threatening pms is a tad OTT tbh, and i didnt see u disrespecting him jen u merely had an opinion and it was polite enough, sadly prior to u coming in there was people being disrespectful to the dead and not just MJ but both the recently dead and dieing, and very poor taste jokes abt them, personally i dont give a flying fig what people want to say and i for one did feel there was a grave disrespect going on for a few hours infact on and off, i chose to leave the room as that was my opinion and indeed my decision to do so as i had had enough of that particular derision, and i did say to someone that there was disrespect for the dead going on simply because there was.
No one is making u like MJ or farrah fawcett or indeed anyone, thats ur decision and yours alone, the same as those that do wish to feel differently is there decision, at the end of the day in the chat room there is both an ignore button and the exit button, i chose to use mine at a certain point, we can all do the same both in there, on the tv, not read the papers and so on.
i personally havent read a single news article abt eithers death, so apart from a little on the radio and hearing his music which i like anyway on there i dont feel bombarded by it because i havent let myself be :)
And as for u PB you are entitled to your opinion also even if it is cr@p u poofy sausage fingered numpty  (waits for my abusive pm too now ) lol

Well done Jen-Jen on the Race for Life. I am doing it this sunday in memory of my dad and for my gran who is in the final stages of lung cancer too.

Between me and my mum and sisters we have raised over £1000 in sponsors so far but if anyone wants to add to that they can on a secure link I can give you… go on do something worthwhile today!

Well that’s me told then eh?

BTW: I see you use the phrase “grave disrespect” and later on in your post “disrespect for the dead” ….. aren’t they the same thing?

    :D :)

I think ‘Yes’ PB you have most certainly been told, is there going to be a whipping now???

Yup …. I think that this will be my punishment for “dissing the departed”.

I wonder how much ‘respect’ will be felt by the poor suckers that paid over £1,000 for a ticket to one of his O2 concerts only to find out that the best they will get back is the face value (around £75) and then only if they can prove that they were the original purchaser.

Tough life being a Jackson fan ain’t it?

Your right again PB and i shall await the public whipping with baited breath and an open non judgemental attitude to others opinions.

I also heard on the news ticket holders will be offered an alternative MJ hologram ticket if they dont claim their money back……
now there’s an offer i am sure fans cannot refuse.

I am glad this thread is unbiased and gives 1 the ability to speak 1’s mind without the fear of retribution, or did i mean with impartiality…..

It’s always a shame when a famous person from Gary, Indiana, dies.

Karl Malden starred in many films, especially with Marlon Brando (On The Waterfront, One-Eyed Jacks) and won an Oscar for his role in A Streetcar Named Desire.

A brilliant actor, he was 97 and had celebrated his 70th wedding anniversary last December. Imagine that.
