Let’s hope that Eastenders is better than Emmerdale (even though it’s only on for half an hour) Things were obviously going to come to a head between Jack & Diane and Perdy & Gray so it was hardly one to remember.
Also, does Jo not feel the cold?! Maybe it’s just me, but I tend to find the weather at this time of year a tad on the chilly side.
Looks like the TV guide I got was wrong – didn’t realize it was on twice today. Much, much better than Emmerdale though!

Yep John I registered the fact that eastenders started at a very early time before the alcohol and forgot the first episode lol!!
Anyway, the 2nd one was still good and I didnt see the fall down the stairs coming at the end… thats not been in any of the mags Ive read = quality!!
Too much is revealed these days about the soaps….. (like we are all thick and cant work out a build up if ever youve seen one!) I like a surprise!! Yep…. sad and unhappy hubby hating lovely lady falls down stairs and thats a great christmas soap!!! mental innit!!!
It’s on BBC Three tonight after Pulp Fiction but I don’t think there’s any need to watch it. Have to agree that it’s good to see something that we weren’t really expecting – I don’t recall reading anything about that either. Even better since the BBC had been showing the same clip of them all watching the video on christmas for about a week. Good on them for adding a little something extra to it!
I actually don’t mind reading the soap goss, comes in handy if I’m working nights – I can watch Emmerdale on ITV2 but I miss Eastenders and The Bill.

At first I thought the baby was in the carry cot and was gonna get flung down the stairs lol!!
Corrie was great. But one big let down. The coppers going in Kevs house and just arresting him!…… why? Even those who have not had a tap dance with the law knows that would not happen lol!! Two best moments on corrie for me were…… slapper walking in with the prezzie with Fizz standing there and Roy talking to Hayley.
Corrie has it all = corrie rules 8)
Haven’t watched Corrie since the Richard Hillman storyline, I only know what’s happening cos my mum watches it. It’s only Emmerdale and Eastenders that I watch, tried watching Hollyoaks once but never again – I could have condensed that half hour into five minutes for all that happened. Wouldn’t have made it any better but perhaps more tolerable.
That would’ve been something but I doubt even Eastenders would kill a two week old baby on Christmas Day. Would they? Someone always dies in Eastenders though, it’s likely to be Jim cos the guy who plays him apparently ain’t coming back due to health reasons. Shame cos he and Patrick are a great double act. Not as good as Paddy and Marlon though :lol:

No……… we have the pleasure soon of a full 30 minutes of Dot and Jim. Well………… he aint gonna be in it, it’s gonna be Dot coming to terms and “telling us” (cos we r thick) that he aint coming back.
I cant wait to watch Vera dying on corrie 8) thats quality. :wink:
