Men having babies?

I have news for you all, this kind of thing isn’t as rare as you think. In fact, I expect that your children are all going to school with a child who has two “mummies” or two “daddies”. You just don’t know it.

This is true. We are seeing more and more cases at work of same sex couples applying for residence orders, but the majority are lesbians who have done the turkey baster jobby.

What is as worrying as this particular case is the amount of divorces where someone has married, had kids, then decided they are gay. The family suffers but he/she gets the best of both worlds. Difficult to understand i admit, but common.

This particular case was avoidable. It must make couples who are desparate for children but for some reason cannot have them feel awful.

Medical science must move on, but this is certainly not the way.

Im not religious, but how often do we discuss the fact that family values start in the home, you learn from what is around you, and most rounded children come from a solid family background. A mum and a dad.

I think we should now as much as ever still be encouraging this, even if two men are kissing on Emmerdale at 7pm every other night. Yes it happens but it is not the norm. Accept that it is different, but should be tolerated.

The “right” to children is not a given, it is a blessing.

So true, and what was swept under the carpet generations ago are today’s social battlecries. Because in that respect we’ve evolved have we? Looking only through the eyes of 2008 at any issue can be incredibly unhelpful, however much we parade our opinions and then feel so superior for doing so. Only love and the will to survive is unchanging, eternal.

We shall, in all probability, listen to our grown-up children and grandchildren one day espouse views that will shock us. Hard to do on a message board, but it’s best to be as nonjudgmental as possible in life for others can or will point fingers at any one of us. Or as mims said, try and find some empathy with others.

what has it got to do with anyone
especially the chatboard mothers who clearly dedicate all their spare time away from the computer being role model parents

The world is full of weirdos and this case is just another example. Kids need a mother and a father 24/7… not part time or single parents. Not a couple of gays/lesbians who try to preach to the world that its normal to have same sex relationships. And especially not fu*cked up men who just wanna be on tv and make a few bob out of the publicity.

Those that condone this kind of breeding are just as much to blame as those who take part in it.

zactly. when the baby is being paraded in magazines and on telly while the freaks rake in the cash will the do gooders jump to their defence then? mind u.they will be able to send her to private school with the proceeds where she wont encounter real life anyway.
