I believe! There are a lot of charlatans about, it’s any easy way to make money by preying on the griefstricken. But, theres also those that do have a genuine gift. My mum used to go each week to spiritulist meetings, one week I went with her and got picked for a message – wasn’t expecting anything, I’d only gone due to curiosity.
He was spot on about a lot of things, including a chair I wouldn’t let anyone else but my nan sit in, apparantly I had my great grandmother stood by my left shoulder, and a sister of mercy stood by my right, I recall vividly a uncomfortable burning feeling between my shoulder blades.

Still have no idea why I’d got a nun watching over me though! :?

read all his books and liked him… disliked his tv show though….

but I call myself an open-minded sceptic, show me the proof and I will decide for myself.

Shows like most haunted and the likes (which my hubby adores) dont help.

Can’t vouch for mediums but I did go to a fortune teller approx 20 years ago. Was persuaded to go along after a former gf talked me into it. Tbh I went as a sceptic but was very open minded after the encounter. I was told information that nobody would possibly have know, not to mention info that did indeed come true as she claimed it would. Was it sheer luck she got her info correct? maybe!? but I’m now not so sure. I certainly wouldn’t go back – I’d sooner not know what lies ahead, so in many respects maybe I do believe. I want to take each day as it happens, whatever is around the corner I’ll face it eventually.
Make of that what you will. Providing you get the right medium, there’s more to that spiritual shit than meets the eye.

A lifetime ago, I was at Glasgow City Carnival, when I popped in to see the fortune teller..a real shrivelled old gypsy-wifey, who made me cross her palm with silver.
First off, she told me that I was cheating on my boyfriend – now as I had nipped in to see her the previous week with a different bloke in tow who was indeed not my boyfriend, I think that set the tone, as she proceeded to get ripped into me:
I would never be truly happy, none of my friends would like me, I would be divorced twice and – wait for it – even my children would hate me.
Half horrified and half-bemused as I was then, I often wonder if this had any bearing on my decision not to have children. Anywaystomorocco – she was wrong about everything else so I reckon she just didn’t like the cut of my jib.
    BTW, my friends ADORE me.
