This is absolutely correct Fastcars – except that if you do it track by track, you can then build up different playlists depending on your ‘score’ for the track and the frequency of use.
I have to say that my preference would be to do it the long way so that if a file has been corrupted you can spot it immediately and delete it or replace it (as you wish).
It worries me that you actually need music on your media player , Heavens above listening to music while typing your dribble on here , just think of all the more productive things you could be doing , whats wrong with a CD Player in the same room …..!
