You should try connecting it to a different pc. Then you’d know if it was a
    faulty keyboard.

If your keyboard is faulty, then you should take it back to where you bought it from and get a replacement. What you shouldn’t do is try to sell it to someone else. That is very naughty, shame on you [-X

I dont KNOW thats its faulty though, I have no idea why I cant get windows to recognise it. I,ts bound to be something simple but I,m blowed if I can work out what is. I,ll just have to remember to change the batteries in this one more often.

have you got a disc with it?? if you did i’d delete old keyboard drivers and install disc drivers

Nope. Someone did suggest uninstalling the drivers for the wireless keyboard but it didnt make a bit of diference. Balls to it. It,s getting sold. Either that or it goes in next doors pond with their fish. Poxy bloody thing, wish I,d never bought it. It wa supposed to make my life easier.

Ok well, as long as you let the buyer know that it is suspect, then you are exonerated (possibly!) legally, I don’t know. I am wondering how you can sell it for more than you purchased it. :?

Is the keyboard usb or ps2?

I had problems when I changed my wireless mouse with a new one, I had to ditch the ps2 to usb convertor and it worked fine.

Sometimes the best way is to unplug the wireless keyboard stuff and your new keyboard with the machine turned off. Turn the machine on let it boot and when it gets to windows put the keyboard in then if necessary hit the restart button not ideal, but has worked on a few gypy keyboards at work.
