1. What is a neto dragon voice modem, and if I have one on my system, why am I being asked/prompted at start up that the puter has new hardware installed, and I need to insert an installation disc?
2. Am installing my picture printer. Used to print direct from camera, but the papers really dear. After a year of trying (and failing) to sell it on ebay, read the manual tonight and it says: dont ever remove the usb plug from the slot you used to load it. This may conflict with the printer and cause it not to work. Is this the same for all usb devices? Perhaps this is why my phone is not loading on properly, cos Ive recently moved the ‘puter to another location and the leads go in as and where :oops: never been a prob before!!
Anyone any tips/advice?
A “neto dragon voice modem” is a 56k dial up modem. If you have boradband at home you don’t need it for internet and you just need to disable it.
Has for swaping your usb devices about and getting “conflict”, thats rubbish.
“picture printer” are toys for kids. Aways buy lazer prints there much better and start at about £60.

What kind of phone? A usb phone? or a landland phone?
When I connect my mobile to the usb lead, the system doesnt recognise it. Ive re-loaded the software but still no luck. This was why I asked about the usb ports as I said it stated in the photo printer manual you should stick to the usb port that you load the item on with and I had never heard this before.
This is a software issues or a faulty usb lead.
Do windows updates
Go to your mobile phone maker’s web site and down load the software.
And then re try it.
