well if i had been stupid enough to leave 3 children under the age of 4 unatended i’m afraid unlike her mother i wouldnt be in any fit state to go to church or take my remaining 2 out for walks after the event. i would be in a dark room somewhere sedated!. lets hope they found her.
But do you not feel that the other 2 also deserve a childhood and deserve their parents attention?
i know the parents left maddie alone etc but, its not the other kids fault, and they should not be punished for it.
Personally i think it would make her an even worse mother for neglecting the other kids14 August, 2007 at 12:30 pm #282150@r.O.T.T wrote:

Gloaters is the term for such peopleur such a tit. who would *gloat* over a child going missing. we are simply stating that most seemingly *intelligent* people wouldnt leave 3 babies alone. let alone 2 doctors.maybe us working class have more time for our kids and dont mind having them around 24/7. must be a drag after all when ur used to being out at work all day and only getting home in time to kiss them goodnight…..(thats if they arent already asleep) having to spend all day with them on ur holiday and still make arrangements (or not in the mcanns case) to be able to go out for a nice meal and worry what they are doing. but hey…..having a well paid job means u can holiday abroad………broaden the kids horizons………even lose them. after all who wants to sit in a child friendly bar bein annoyed by the brats when u have spent all day entertaining them.
14 August, 2007 at 7:47 pm #282151Maybe you Token, and the others on here who have seen fit to lamblast those of us who have a different opinion to yours, should simply accept that people do have different opinions on this. It doesn’t make us wrong, anymore than it makes you wrong for holding the opinion that you do……..wer’e entitled to disagree with you,,,,,we have free speech, it’s a free country, least it was last time I checked

14 August, 2007 at 10:42 pm #282154Well duh, they SHOULD have been under scrutinty from day one
The parents should be the FIRST not the last people to be investigated, suspected and charged or ruled out in any case like this, its only the pathetic whinging of bleeding heart doo gooder liberals that makes doing so seem wrong when infact its just plain old common sense
Plus this two (IMO) just dont seem right to begin with as no decent parents leave kids that age alone under ANY circumstances, even if by some freakish chance it turns out they arent involved I think they should be strung up for complicity for being such irresponsible parents because they might as well have helped bludgeon the wee lass to death with their bare hands anyway by how easy they made it IF they werent involved

If you disagree with what i said then you mean its ok for the kids who are ok to not have their parents there with them?
the kids should suffer too? they are kids! its not fair on them! let them have their childhood
obviously only my opinion and you have already said you dont agree with what i said which is fine
i personally think that its unfair to punish the kids that are ok, you dont
free country like you said
14 August, 2007 at 11:01 pm #282156I have to admit I will be letting out a little chuckle at the naive idiots who saw fit to criticise anyone suggesting it MIGHT have been the parents throughout this IF it turns out they were involved
It seems its ok to “lambast” someones views as long as its on the side of naive gullible idiocy but just not under any other circumstances lol
However you dice this or try and dress it up in a limp wristed PC, left wing, touchy feely frock the PARENTS killed this girl whether they were implicitly involved or not, and thats that
They killed their daughter because socialising was more important to them than their childrens safety, end of

What I disagree with actually Token, is the way that you and some others here have lamblasted people for critisising the parents of the child. Gerry McCann can stand there all he likes and say how terribly upset they are at the bad press they’re now receiving in Portugal, play the bleeding heart! Had they NOT left not one, but 3 children! under the age of four alone, they wouldn’t be in the situation they are would they. Why DIDN’T they use the babysitting service, why DIDN’T they use the creche, if they wanted to have dinner undisturbed by the children, they could afford it after all. As I said before,,,my sympathies are with that child, if she’s still alive, she’s the real victim in all of this.
I totally agree that their two other children should be allowed a childhood,,,,who’s denying them that, would it be their parents perhaps. They don’t seem to have a problem dumping them off on relatives or anyone else while they travel around the country, pop off to have an audience with the pope etc etc.,
The only people denying those other two children their childhood therefore, are their parents!!!
