I read on sky text that another appeal has been made to the ‘kidnapper’. This is presumably the mysterious kidnapper who lurks in the shadows and strikes without being seen or heard.

BM: I await your response with baited breath but remember one thing when you’re in the midst of throwing your toys at me. I’m not A/Hole, I’m THE hole.

They left the children alone when there were sufficient facilities to have the children looked after. No doubt there are other facts that only the McCanns and the police know about. However I have no sympathy for them, only the little girl. What they did was neglect, regardless of where they were and who they were with. Leaving 3 children of that age alone without an adult is irresponsible. If the McCanns had their backs turned for a moment and she was taken, then it would have been a tragedy. I am sure that they are very remorseful for leaving her, but they only feel this way because she was taken. Had she not been taken then they would have carried on caring for their children in such a manner as to think it appropriate to leave them alone.

I have no time for sympathy voters on this matter. It would not have happened had they been more responsible but alot of things can be said in hindsight. Their biggest challenge will lie ahead if and when Madeleine is found. I am sure that when she is older she will undoubtedly wish to know what happened. How do you begin to explain that you were taken by whoever while Mummy and Daddy were dining with friends and had left you alone in a strange holiday apartment isn’t a conversation I envy.

Everyday people take chances with their children and 99.9% of the time, everything is ok. This just illustrates that no matter how careful you are. Don’t take chances with your children. It just isn’t worth the heartache that follows.

    Very well said Kristie.

i see from today’s press that Gerry McCann (husband of the sainted Kate McCann) stormed out of an interview ‘live’ on spanish TV. they were being interviewed on a prime-time current affairs programme (La Noria) when the interviewer asked Mr McCann “You were the last people to see Madeleine alive, is that correct?”

McCann replied “That’s part of the investigation and we’re not going to divulge anything that might get in the way of the investigation.”

The interviewer then responded with “This investigation took a new turn this month when traces of blood were discovered in the room. When you heard that, how did you react?”

It was at this point that McCann snapped, tore off his microphone and stormed out of the interview refusing to comment.

What strange behaviour eh??? I wonder why???

So he did PB. Apparantly it was very hot and he “needed some air”.

There’s probably a very simple explenation. For example, maybe he saw someone trying to peer through the blacked out windows in his car.

Maybe it just so happens that it was at that particular moment when he needed some air. Isn’t that possible?
