Who would be your choice for Mayor of London for the next four years….. or does Englands capital city not actually need a mayor?
The main candidates…..
Ken Livingstone: Labour (current mayor)
Boris Johnstone: Conservative
Brian Paddick: Liberal Democrats
Personally I wouldnt put Boris Johnstone in charge of disneyland let alone a huge cosmopolitan city like London.

Politics needs characters to make it interesting, otherwise its just plain boring!
14 April, 2008 at 12:03 am #325496What’s all this ‘we’ stuff… do any of the above actually have a voting card for the May 1 elections?
14 April, 2008 at 6:41 am #325497I was against a mayor anyway, I just don’t see the point of one. Also we don’t hear about the other 7 candidates its always about those three. The main bloke in fathers for justice is also standing, one from ukip and also a bnp candidate as well as a four others. But they dont get a mention. Id go for Boris out of those three,. Kens just a twat who aint got a clue, Paddick will spend to much time sucking up to junkies and ethnics. at least boris is entertaining even though hes a bumbling fool.
14 April, 2008 at 8:07 am #325498If Boris is so keen to govern then let him practice somewhere not so important first. Like the Isle of White for example. Or Scotland even. Giving him the controls to one of the most important cities in the world may at first be comical but once London becomes the laughing stock of the planet you may wish you had voted differently.
14 April, 2008 at 12:17 pm #325499Do you live in London, its allready the laughing stock. Homes being built which no one can sell, while hundred’s are sleeping rough. The roads so full no one can drive anywhere and if you do manage to drive somewhere you will prob get fined for driving in the wrong lane or stopping in the wrong bay/box. Crimes going down but there are more kids running around with gun’s than ever before.
The place is one big dump !!!! -
