OK so the local elections are on May 3rd and we are all being urged to get out there and vote for the political party of our choice.

”You know who” is working herself up into a complete foaming at the mouth frenzy with post after post attacking ”the old gang” and drumming up support for her preferred party.

So what do you think is going to be posted jere on Friday May 4th when the results of all this voting are known??? Suggestions ………………………???

Now UKIP are no longer around I don’t know who I’ll vote for…I agree with stopping imigration and stopping benefits for immigrants… but whos going to follow those ideals through :? :? :? I want them to take a tougher stand on heroin and crack dealers… but half the time they’re not prosecuted through lack of evidence or the CPS decide its against public interest (whatever that means)

Im not voting this year  None of the local parties worked hard enough to stop my eldest sons school from closure next year, and it turns out the chief county counciller (conservative) Steven Somebody who pushed for the closure is also the rep for our part of the country for the 2012 Olympics….(which he has tried to hide!!)

That might not mean anything to you, but we suspected all along that because the school is on a huge site with lots of green land AND 5 minutes away from the M11/M25, AND almost ontop of a disused underground rail link that could link Stansted/London 70%quicker than the existing over ground, it dont take much of a brain to come up with the real plan!!

None of the local parties put up enough fight to oppose it, so Ive told all my local councillers to feck off. They are a bunch of uneducated, ugly fat idiots anyway, and there will be even more uneducated idiots queing to take their places when they close the only school that caters for the East side of our town

(gets of soap box  )

Tories. I vote Tory, as I love my country.

Evil communist traitors vote for Labour. French gay-gays who want to hug paedophiles vote for Lib-Dems. Big fat pimply-faced butch skinhead, tattooed lesbians vote BNP. People who love their country vote Tory. It’s a fact innit.

who do you vote for if you hate your country?

There seam to be a lot of people in the news who would like to blow it up.

its a simple thing realy…. If you dont vote you dont get a say in anything that happens. A river begins with a small stream, and the more streams join, the stronger the river becomes… as with anything, the more we listen and discuss, the more we will come to agreements. mabey not to the satisfaction of all of us. But if we do not discuss and disagree we will not find common ground to work on. i may agree with emmalush on some things and slayer on others i may well agree with both or neither. but the fact of the matter is i will fight to the death for either one to have their opinion, no matter how agreable or awful that opinion may be…. and that my friends is democracy. and unless we keep voting and talking we will no longer have a democracy.. :) :) :) :)

Seconded. The less we vote, the more chance the dictatorship gets stronger. The more we vote for the smaller party’s, the more democracy we gain back.

seconded for (suprisingly  ) a different reason than Emma

Democracy and the right to elect a representative of your view is enshrined in our nations history- the vote is what is important, not whether the vote is for a big, small or insignificant party or candidate. All BNP candidates in Scotland will lose their deposit, but it is important (however much I disagree with their policies) that people have the right to waste, sorry I mean cast, their vote for them
