Detectives said on Wednesday they were hunting a man who has been grabbing the bottoms of women and girls during a year-long campaign in Manchester city centre.

The man, aged in his late 20s or 30s and described as “Turkish or Greek-looking”, mainly strikes at between 7 and 8 a.m., sneaking up on his victims from behind and grabbing their backsides, police said.

So far he has indecently touched 19 victims, aged from 13 to 43.

“This man has struck a number of times over the last 12 months,” said Detective Sergeant Kay Dennison. “They have not increased in severity, however the man has put his victims in extremely uncomfortable situations.

“I am determined to identify and catch this man.”

CCTV footage has captured one of the incidents, showing the man loitering before carrying out an assault.

So …. at long last we discover why it is that UGO is fleeing the country.
