Well, Gerry, if you or anyone else think I hijacked a respect thread for an event as terrible as the Manchester bombings, then you must ask martin to either ban me or to alert me that I am no longer welcome here. If someone is so disrespectful to the slaughter of children and innocents as to hijack a thread, then you have every right to ask that be done, and Martin would be morally justified in doing it. If Martin agrees, I’ll be gone forever. I won’t revisit the site, I won’t come under another name, I’ll unbookmark it, I won’t touch the site with a bargepole, believe me. So if you’re serious (I don’t think you are) and not turning the bombing into a disgusting jc egotrip, you should do that and then respect Martin’s decision as I will.
Another one who whines when his posts are taken down, complains about the same free speech which it denies others. What do you actually contribute to this site Septic, why do you require a response from the site owner? The only person turning this thread into a child playground rant is Ge attempting to gain credibility by attacking posters rather than sticking on topic which sceptical does even though I disagree with many of his views.

When you have any group of people misquoting any writings documented ‘in the name of religion’ there will always be discord and violence. Their whole ideology is wrong, they justify everything they do and there is no reasoning with them. So what do you do with people who you cannot get through to? Do you tolerate them and allow them to terrorise innocent people or do you put a stop to them? But how can you ‘put a stop’ to them without wiping them out completely as they all have the same views? Yes their views may not be as extreme but the basics are still there – they are still ‘conforming’ and living their lives as deemed by their scriptures. So we eradicate the extremists?? Then it’s possible the other Muslim’s react and become extremists in response? So do we insist that all Muslims ‘go back home’ and then bomb their whole country? You’d never get them all, they sit in our country living off our benefits plotting how to kill and maim their next door neighbours who they borrow a cup of sugar from. Personally my knee jerk reaction is an eye for an eye. The Jews did far less to deserve being wiped out by Hitler. My point is how can you reason and deal with people whose ideology is in all essence wrong? And it is ‘wrong’ when they believe that suicide bombing and killing children is ‘in the name of religion’ is justified. I am not saying all Muslims are extremists I am just saying that how can you really tell who is and who isn’t? How can you get rid of a threat when that threat is most likely living up your street.

I try to understand what and why, and that means writing seriously. It shows as much respect as those who say how sad they are. I don’t slag them off. I don’t see why this shouldn’t be reciprocated.
I’m not Islamic, I don’t find their religion at all attractive, but the Muslims I know are very good people, showing respect for others and deeply concerned for humanity. Angel Babe on the other thread (the ‘respect’ thread, sheesh) rightly pointed to the Muslims who were driving their taxis to help out in the tragedy, and I’ve seen pictures of Muslim clerics comforting the victims.
There are enough terrorist to be deeply worrying, some of the (about 400) with the knowledge and will to use weapons of slaughter.
All I can think is not to let yourself get panicked into attacking Muslims in general – most of them are as appalled as you and I – and leave it to the cps. They’ve stopped a lot of these terrorist attacks in their tracks, and if there was any other way of dealing with it I would say, do it.
I am not anti Muslim or racist, I was just asking what can be done. I cannot see terrorism ever being eradicated. But then maybe I should just tick to writing crap poetry ;)
We should start by banning all faith schools , have mosques continually vetted with the imam made to publically condemn any act of terror for potentially grooming any young muslim here by seeming to turn a blind eye. If they aren;t prepared to do this or join marches demanding sharia law with placards telling us we will all burn in hell then ship the bastards out.. there’s no place in any civilised culture for any one not prepared to condemn bloodshed in the name of “religion”. If offends their “human rights ” tough shit, time there was less tolerance from people like Ge and more of a hardline stance on some of these animals masquerading as human beings. There are many white muslims who this would apply to so race is irrelevant …. all very well people crying about ” islamaphobia” , I’m proud to stand against something as vile as islam and if being islamaphobic saves lives like that 8 year old little girl butchered then I can sleep at night with being labelled ” islamaphobic ” putting up with rants from a few blithering dicks like Ge.

Drac may go on at times but the stats she has posted regarding muslim views over terror are correct – they are not this innocent persecuted group you make out but actually contain a huge number of people with no compassion for life holding views which are incompatible with life in this country. No one is stating “all muslims are evil” but the religion if you dare call it that they follow is fundamentally wrong on so many levels and extremely dangerous. If they decide to be foolish enough to follow such teachings they should expect to be treated with extreme wariness and added security.. its not discrimination its common sense.

Lol. Why don’t you get off your lazy arse then and campaign for it publicly. Get involved in local politics and put forward those proposals when you seek office. That sort of racist and Islamophobic extremism might go down well in F1 and with wooly liberals like Septic, it might even impress the gullible kids in F1, it won’t wash so well in the world grown ups inhabit, the real world, will it.
People like Ge are the reason many have turned to right wing policies , he fuels the problem he thinks he is defending by just typing out racist and mysogynist all day. Most people in the real world are actually sick to death of people like this calling people racists for criticising a religion but you’re too intrinsically stupid to differentiate between race and religion so we have drama queens like this clown seething on social media platforms all day. One of the reasons nothing ever gets done because of delirious imbeciles like this who screams racist when the news announces it was an immigrant accused of anything- back in your box kid people have had enough of your rants u silly little queen.
