    Try the Rolling Stones Soulie , or Wishbone Ash – they are till going too – I saw them in 73 – ffs
    There’s also Paul Lamb – probably one of the best harmonica players ever – and he’s from my home town – been on loads of albums for bands such as Lindisfarne etc
    If you like R & B – try the Hamsters – brilliant – they are one of the leading exponents of Hendrix too – they have many hats
    Walter Trout is still about – he played with Canned Heat and John Mayall – (google em – cos ur too young)

    I could go on and on and on and on and on – but i’ll give you respite for now

    i’m always on the look out for new bands, they are hard to find these days.. too many bands like razorlight, who frankly.. yeah sound alright, but they are not much cope when it comes to melody and song writing

    heard a band recently called nine black alps … they are quite good Soulie :wink:

    dirty pretty things got slated in their revues but I really like ’em 8)

    anyone into new york punk may like Be your own pet, I quite like ’em :)

    oh yeah

    Jose Gonzales is ace to chill to….a lovely mix of accoustic guitar and soft vocals….only for the sleepy though 8)
