Like many of you are feeling it brings people together in a crisis as they say. Most we know may be a few days, a week..but months more difficult.
In my life time like many of you have never experienced this type of lock down and focus. So up and down each of us every day..emotions as well. More so who do we listen too, who right? When can we go back to normalcy as we once knew it. Or was it? Who knows..
Many whom still working have had more challenges if in direct line or health care workers, grocery stores so forth.
I worry for the many who can not get their basic medical treatments or those with pre existing conditions.
I am not sure about you..one line sick of truly..”essential workers.” My opinion no matter what any one does they are a “essential person.” If it a family unit member..homemaker. All human beings are important no matter status.
Even those in f1..whom entertain but in poor form and class at a time like this. They need help sadly..they are lost souls. Perhaps they can give it a little break a bit and reflect lucky to be alive…be human some times and not so bold and rude insulting all who want a decent chat and disrupt nice folks.

25 May, 2020 at 7:35 pm #1132031Hi Linda,
For once I think I got the gist of your post which is a rarity tbh. I’m glad your well and coping ok with this lock down. I think many of us are worrying about so many people and thank those who have put theirs lives on the line to do so much for us all. Too many to mention but lot’s to clap for every Thursday evening at 8.00pm as any self respecting person does over here. I wouldn’t worry about those idiots in Forum one they won’t ever give up being stupid just like your President who suggested we all inject ourselves with bleach! Like him and them they will always be a brainless waste of space.
Take care x
25 May, 2020 at 8:31 pm #1132032Not sure about the states but working in the supply chain for one one the major UK supermarkets though this virus all i can say is we have shit loads of stocks to keep the supermarkets shelf’s full. The problem is the pricks who are stockpiling the stuff.

26 May, 2020 at 3:15 am #1132035Hello Somer. Glad you well, safe and Mrs. Somer too.
Yes for some reason people think stock piling is way to go as no food will be availabe or essential products. What bothers me speaking of toilet paper and paper towels the stores have reduced size and quantity in package and charging double for less. Make sense. Wtf that about?
What people use before those items available or considered essential?

Would you be saying the lockdown must end if you had lost a loved one to covid 19?
How would you fill if we got a 2nd wave of covid 19 and you lost a loved one as lockdown was lifted to early?
I feel sorry for BJ (Boris Johnson not Blowjob) if he lifts it and we get a 2nd wave hes fucked but if if dont lift it hes fucked.

Well said Somer on all points
i means what’s all this human rights crap got to do with the lockdown? So flipping American!
The lockdown was put in place to protect EVERYONE even dickheads
its sad and unfortunate due to the Covid lockdown many will lose their jobs and businesses however if you die you certainly won’t need either of those
About time people stopped seeing the negative and pulled together

27 May, 2020 at 12:41 pm #1132045Ummm. Well since i am American, I do agree however that safety and distance is essential and the extreme health protocol necessary for the older population, sick, and many not too elderly with symptoms that can harm them more if get covid as well.
As s Nation known for freedom and rights the many on beaches seen over the memorial weekend seem to be more of our younger generation who think they are safe..will not get anything, and a term as “bold and cocky.” (Term used here) I was angry. Working for months and wearing full protective gear honestly has sucked. The washing, cleaning, so obsessive for all of us..out of control. However, many of us Americans are aware and worried for next round as flu season soon upon us. AND yes many of us recognize and do not act like seen on television. So those stupid Americans AGREE.
The problem I hear and see every day is the FEAR. How am I going to pay my bills? How do i take care of my family? Kids education loss. Job will i have one? Fear makes peoples adrenaline rise and that what is being voiced. Can’t see my parents. In a nursing home..so forth. Many angry and frustrated acting irrational and not thinking of bottom line result. Over all result to awake a sleeping giant again-covid.
