Because you have to have it uploaded to a shared public area for other ppl to see it. You can’t just post the link from where it’s stored on your own PC as it’s not public and can’t be seen.

I use photo bucket whenever I post a pic on here.

I post pics from my pc to here…no problem.

I got pics on a sharing site saves as it space on your own PC, you can acces them anywhere, edit tools are ok plus when your PC dies, you don’t lose all your pics if you haven’t got them backed up.

so people load a personal photo from their computer to a hosting site so they can add it to a thread?………that’s like having a middle man …….could be seen as totally un-neccessary ………don’t people put pics on discs?……. I do get the point though about not wanting to lose a pic if your pc dies.
