You said at the end of your previous post that ” It’s not over yet” Implying that you could still win the title by not spending money like Chelsea when clearly you have.
I think Robben has been a much much better buy !!
26 January, 2005 at 3:12 pm #104110who would be a defender hey, it seems like only the attacking players get the praise, yeah robben is a great player, and at his age.. a wonderfull tallent.. fully deserves the praise.. just a pitty the carraghers, the terrys.. the heinzs… the hibberts…don’t get the same praise for such an outstanding season
the title is’nt over.. it can turn on its head in a matter of a few weeks.. 4 or 5 games, it was a statement on its own i made. being a fan.. you never give up.. you should know that yourself :)
26 January, 2005 at 3:17 pm #104111Whether Man Utd win the title or not….they would have still done it by spending a fortune…the same way as Chelsea.
All them players have done well but ( and if you read back you will realise your error ) They are not new signings !!!!!!!!
I just think Robben is a better signing than Heinz.
26 January, 2005 at 3:22 pm #104112I dont think theres any way that this Chelsea side are gonna lose the league now.

Now i know my ole m8 Griff is gonna slate me for this but Liverpool really need to pull their soccer socks up bigtime before they become a complete laughing stock
They are clearly going from bad to worse with each and every passing week and it must be a total and utter embarrassment for a fan to support such a boll ox side at this time
Over to you Griff for your analysis on the current situation :wink:To b fair to Liverpool, every time goes through lean spells. Man U themselves didnt win the English league for something like 25 years between the last 60s and early 90s. Usually in England there are 2 or 3 teams at the top, and then it spins round again. Liverpool and Forest in the 80s then Man U and Arsenal, so it will spin round again.
26 January, 2005 at 3:32 pm #104114Me niether………..and if they do it is more likely to be Ar$enal than Man Utd In my opinion.
26 January, 2005 at 10:30 pm #104115Looks like a Liverpool Chelsea final then !!!
…& Man Utd put there top squad out available and still lost..at home !!

22 February, 2005 at 10:12 pm #104117The difference between Birmingham and Liverpool however is that Liverpool can still play badly all season and qualify for Europe while Birmingham, despite one good game against a top flight club, are still under-achievers.

i would’nt call beating liverpool anything to write home about this season, they have been both great and poor all season.. so inconsistant, to beat them, you just have to be lucky you got them on the right day
birmingham can be proud for what they have achived as there goals are set a lot lower then liverpools
