I was so excited at the thought of seeing my Son, Gf and Grandaughter this Christmas I couldnt wait for them to get here.

I’m not OCD but I do keep a tidy house, however, I wasnt prepared for the devastation a one year old can cause. I only have a small house which is usually very neat and tidy, its now littered with unmentionalable amounts of paraphonalia, but do I care no not a jot.

What I do care about, however, is the fact (considering myself to be a a moderate Domestic Goddess) and I want everything to be just right but the bloody turkey I bought in Tesco is crooked, yes crooked! After I’d bought it and got it home I looked at it and thought please god let me be wrong about this, surely its just the wrapper thats a tad askew but today when I got it out to stuff it I was right it is crooked, one leg is bigger than the other! Ive tried hard to manipulate it so it looks normal to no avail!

Naturally I care more about it than they do so I shall simply stick a potato under its left leg to make it even and hope nobody will notice!

    So Stuff The Turkey!

That’s what happens when a Turkey does a Hopalong Cassidy impression too often.

Cook’s tip: When you’re a bit lopsided, bung a sausage (or something of a similar size & shape) up the bum …. the Turkey’s bum that is, not the cook’s !!!
