Are you a doctor, or a lawyer? If not then by your own logic you should not be talking about the topic.

You are acting as if he murdered these people, which is the thing I have a problem with. The patients concented to have surgery, and I assume also approved by the hospitals and surgical teams involved.

He may have exagerated the risks or even lied in some cases, but if the patients blindely believed him without doing their own research on such an important decision, then I do personally find it somewhat hard to find a lot of sympathy for them.

I understand your JC logic now. You accept the consultant is at fault, you accept he lied, you accept he misled vulnerable patients, you accept he operated unnecessarily and you suggest he should never practice medicine again and then ultimately, you blame his victims. You victim blame those who had their breasts, or part of their breasts, needlessly removed. You allude that his victims were all stupid and naive.

According to your JC logic, someone told they have breast cancer or are at risk of breast cancer, should do their own “research online” and not trust the word of any specialist and now according to your JC logic, because you often make these silly unfounded assumptions about other people, “they clearly didn’t research” and so you have absolutely no sympathy for them.
