Ive just made a victoria sandwich cake which is now cool enough to ice

I can make a nice lemon drizzle cake but just want more ideas for somethin thats tastyalso rose, I have problems with the kids food

They all like different things so I end up making the things they all like over and over then they complain I do the same all the time. any ideasIf your kids like pasta Di, stir fry whatever veg you got in the house, add some chopped bacon and onion, kids love bacon, stir it into the cooked pasta and top with cheese. If they like pesto add that to the pasta. Its what my son used to call industrial food, cheap, filling and loads of it. (a few chilli flakes gives it a kick too depending on taste).
If you want a great barbeque sauce, can be used on chicken thighs or legs or spare ribs.
Mix a teaspoon of ground ginger
half a teaspoon of chilli flakes
good glug of soya sauce
2 or 3 cloves of garlic (crushed)
good squeeze of tomato puree
half a pint or so of orange juice
tablespoon or two of set honey
Pour over meat and marinade if you can overnight but dont worry if you cant. Cook in oven till done. I guarantee they will love it!29 July, 2008 at 8:07 am #357574errrrrrrrrrrrr can you recommend a good barbeque sauce mix Rose :shock:
