    My kids love my cakes but I’m bored with same old…

    Has any of you ladies got a recipe for something a little different

    theres not a lot you can do bon bon tis bout the colours and the shapes if found with my kids, i wanted to illustrate what i meant lol so found this site, ignore the birthday thing its the decorating the plain old cupcake lol , this site illustrates it well…..

    Dont you stomp ya foot with me :lol:

    200g flour (SR)
    100 g suet
    1 egg
    milk or water to bind
    jam
    pinch salt

    sieve flour mix with suet and salt work to a firm dough with egg and liquid
    roll out into rectangle spread with jam but not right to edges
    roll up into errr roll place in buttered foil and seal tightly
    steam for 2 hrs
