Thats impossible, because i dont want what she said. She assumed wrongly, and still hasnt appologised, but instead prefers to weive her way out of what she said like a slippery snake.
On a point of accuracy Emma – snakes ‘wriggle’ they don’t ”weive” (whatever that is).
…and snakes aren’t slippery either (that’s eels). Snakes have a rough, scaly skin so they can grip onto things.
……….. so for ****’s sake get it right Emma – if you are to have ANY credibility at all.

Firstly Emma Put up or shut up- show us the link that demonstrates that Leicester Housing Association (LHA) “openly discriminates”- there isn’t one cos it doesn’t happen
1) LHA is the most ethnically diverse, politically correct, equally opportunities driven Housing Association there is
2) The adverts for Caribbean court state these premises “will/may appeal to the african or caribbean community”- ANYONE can apply and anyone is accepted.
3) Why would it say these flats appeal to the Afrcian or Caribbean community- COS THEY’RE RIGHT NEXT DOOR TO THE WEST INDIAN SENIOR CITIZENS PROJECT centre!!
4) It also says no pets
5) Another set of flats says “may/appeal to those suffering from mental incapacity”- is that discriminating against those who are mentally fit? No it’s cos it NEXT DOOR TO AN ADULT DAY CENTRE- it also says no pets
6) If you’re going to slander organisations, I suggest you get your facts correct- the internet is not a safe place to slander nor is it anonymous

Ive searched for a link, but with no luck.
I have in front of me, a “homechoice” list of LHA accomodation. The 2nd one is the one im on about.
They charge £72.25 weekly. Ref: 77/L1234. support charge £16.69 weekly.
Caribbean court, 31-37 Lincoln st Leicester Le2 (Im not giving full code)
Described as “Studio room, first floor, with full gas central heating and communal gardens”.On wednesday i will do another search for you, try “homechoice” if you like.

I guess if LHA ever found out that they had been defamed here they would probably sue Emma or the people who run this board (or both). I think Emma needs to make a grovelling apology and retract her comments. Come on Emma, open up and take a big slice of humble pie.

“Afro caribbean scheme for over 55’s” is a long long long way from open discrimation- as you see from my post above as to why this scheme would suit africans or caribbeans BUT it does not say whites need not apply.
There will be numerous schemes for people with disabilities etc but none of those schemes deny the right of anyone to apply or be accepted
As I said before Emma, you are on very very thin ice with this one especially as LHA is an exceptionally respected organisation thats works for the whole community
