Will try and find you a cheaper one, but this does mean replacing the sound card on the laptop. You don’t need to removed, but it does seem a bit funny to replace the sound card on a new laptop.

    cheers…. bid placed!

    #377615

Well don’t think you should have bid on that.

Why not shop around on the web for one first?

You’re looking for a cheap kind of CREATIVE Sound Blaster X-Fi Surround 5.1 USB 2.0 Sound Card with a remote control.

Prices start at £15, the one above is round £50

I wont go no higher than 20 quid, but I do like the look of it. It has all the sockets etc that I need.

Well if that’s the one you like, ring them and just pay for it over the phone.

    You should get it Monday

seems very pointless to buy a laptop then spend money on surround speakers, if you wanted a desktop pc, thats what you should have bought (with a sound card that supportyed 5.1)

i got 2-1 speakers, which probaly would have been just what you need for a laptop, a tenner from Game they are
