Hate to admit it but I did read the early posts and had a little giggle.
All this women v men stuff is fun as well, now that the whole idea has been subverted, but I thought your original idea was a good one.

Yea – I tried that, but then I realised, he’s dead.
Not much use really, apart from his ghostly presence and his hand on my shoulder guiding all of my major decisions.
I’m currently typing from a small room. I’m not allowed sharp stuff but there’s a nice nurse watching me. Shame he’s a bloke.

The bit about my Dad being dead wasn’t a joke though.
Or the bit about his being dead making him useless in a fight. That’s true as well.

Just like an old Etonian, Oxbridge educated toff i was tempted to join the other side, but any club that appreciates the fine, debonaire talent that is Fred Astaire… Well suffice to say, any club that turns out fine fellow travellers like that is the kind of place you’d want your hubbies, partners and man-children to frequent, n’est ce pa?
