    Why have i got them ?

    When i type i get a g5 when i press my G key
    i get a h6 when i press the H key
    annd the same with the 5 and 6 key.

    it’s driving me mad !!!!!
    just noticed it happens with the @ now ffs

    Ummmmm …… have you inadvertently set (or re-set) your keyboard language to anything other than “UK English”?

    Still set to uk but i could be either one of the other two responses :lol:

    Seems to only happen now on the address bar. http://www.google.co.uk appears http://www.g5oogle.co.uk

    yesterday it was on all programmes :evil:

    I have seen this before.

    Its sounds like the chip set in the keyboard is failing or out of date.

    You don’t need a driver for a keyboard but they do reach a point where they can’t be used on the web.

    But its the ones made about 1993-2002 that seem to have this problem.

    What I think you need to do is:

    Buy a cheap £5 keyboard and try it out on your computer, if you still have the same problem, then its windows and you need to ask again.

    and demand your fiver back, try using the windows built in screen keyboard

    Prob seems to of sorted it’s self for now. Maybe i caught something :D
