Im using my mobile to post this, i opened an email from a friend it was all about typing, longest words typed, words in our language ending with same letters etc then deleted it. Then my keyboard stopped working! Coincidence or not? I got an old 1 out + tried that with no luck. Ive plugged them in the spare mouse port and nothing there either! Tried trouble shoot no device found. When i go to plug it in the lights flicker briefly then nothing. Im doin a scan now. Ive done restarts with and without it plugged in. Any suggestions? If the ports are up the creak can you buy usb keyboards? Help!

yeah get an xpm diode resistor from woolies (make sure it’s polarised to the left), plug it in to your lawn mower while hair-straightening the parrot. When the little green light flashes charge into ya mobile then place it in a bowl of vindaloo – see special offer from Currys for that.

It may take some time to load but when it has shaz think of the very longest word you know…….ie…s p u d……….By then the lickle mouses port should be activated and its just a simple matter of downloading the grass cuttings into the nearest dictionary.

    Glad to help…..

I couldnt get a left polarised one  , so I tried opening it all up, gave it a blow and a twiddle and hey presto!!

The lawnmower definately seems to have done the trick! 8)

Just a point on your issue Sharon. Whatever you do …. NEVER plug in or remove a keyboard or mouse (unless they are USB connected) whilst your computer is switched on. You can cause a lot of damage to the onboard card (part of the motherboard usually) to which they connect.

You should ALWAYS switch off first before adding or removing a device – other that a USB Plug-n-Play device – and then switch it on again once the device has been plugged in (or removed).
