    hmm…

in case you don’t know, Diana Fluck was the real name of a British star of the 50s called Diana Dors, who hung around some pretty seedy characters (no, Cosy, not you!). Her mother suggested Ms Fluck change her name in case she became big and her name went up in neon lights and one of the letters dropped off.

I came across this interesting piece by a guy called Adam Curtis, in which connections are made….it’s worth a read…what’s your opinion???

coz I ain’t giving mine unless there’s some feedback..

Yes, there is that…and our two-minute culture stops anything interesting being read or discussed…

but I did say it was worth reading…it’s an interesting take on something very important for us all, and Adam Curtis is noting if not interesting….

I liked that quote form Rupert Murdoch when he said that the editor of the News of the World was too nasty even for him (Murdoch), and had to be sacked lol

I read a third the other day and a third just now, of course I have forgotten what was in the first third, but will let you know what I think when and if I finally managed to read it all without forgetting all of the previous read.
However it is quite interesting so far. I have not clicked any of the videos either. Can you tell I have a short attention span?

Dear Miss Kenty (Order of the British Empire)

if you read a third, and returned to read the second third, then you do not have a short attention span and I am genuinely impressed.

Adam Curtis writes the most popular blog of the BBC.

I always find him very entertaining, and the tv programmes he presents are also entertaining, and the issues he raises are very important, but…

    I’ll wait for your views.

    yours sincerely,

(Who gives a flying) Sceppy (Fluck?)

ps you don’t need to click on the videos to get the gist of what he is driving at.
