I notice that some people are very quick to find any reason to criticise Maddie’s parents, but when another side to the story is put forward, go very quiet.

I think everybody got so passionate with this that it would just be posting for postings sake, so Ive remained quiet this time round, so as not to sound like a stuck record!

I just wish she would be found, either dead or alive and then the mystery be solved for good.

If she has been subject to paedo’s passtimes, I hope she is dead.

I can’t tell you how i felt yesterday when i heard that the police suspected Maddy had been kidnapped by a paedophile gang from belgium, some thing that no doubt we have all thought could have happened but when they said it out loud on yesterdays news my blood ran cold as no doubt it did for many of you out there.

Thing is many many children go missing each year on holiday too, there was the case of the little boy ben needham, he has never been found..now the fact is ben was only 21 months old and in the care of his grandmother who says she only took her eyes off him for a short time…. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ben_Needham

I just pray like many people that if maddy was kidnapped by a paedophile ring that she is dead bless her little heart….(to answer obtuse as to why i would hope she was dead if paedophiles had kidnapped her then my answer is that its bloody obvious i think, if not obtuse, then think about it my reasoning….) sure the parents are being still slammed for ‘neglect’ but quite honestly i cant think what they are going through, i would be distraught like many parents would be, but i would also be making it my priority to find my little girl by whatever means i had to…… as for them being responsible …..yup they are to a certain extent….but they are so paying the price….

sure this can be seen as a moronic thread, but i think this story has been kept in the news by some clever publicity agent and to be honest if maddy is still alive out there if this is what it takes to possibly actually find the little girl then so be it, as i have already said, if it was my child then i would be moving heaven and earth to find her…. i have no intention of reading in depth about the case as its too upsetting and to be honest and there but for the grace of god n all that……..

Kate chooses to remain silent, I agree with bat. You would think the mother of a missing child would be willing to answer any questions thrown at her, dispite what solicitors have advised.

It’s pretty obvious that the police regard her as a suspect in all of this.
What would be the point of her answering questions that are just aimed at trying to trip her up ffs?

Maybe in Cloud Cukoo Land… Back on Planet Reality if the Cops from a foreign country with a history of corruption, are asking questions about whether you killed your Daughter, and are trying to railroad you into a confession, then you’re gonna be very careful what you say.

Thank you Cherry. That was exactly my point. If I had been Kate, I would have happily answered all their questions a million times, if it would help to find my child. These two said from the start they would leave no stone unturned and would fully cooperate with police enquiries, so why wouldn,t she answer the questions?

As to this latest alleged sighting of maddie in Amsterdam, I find it hard to beleive that any abductor would parade a child they had taken, around in full daylight, in a shop with ccctv.

And cath I too often wonder what became of Ben Needham.

BM all she had to do was answer “No I did not kill my daughter”. I mean she has nothing to hide………….right? So whats the problem?
