    I spotted this story in the Media today:

    @Reuters News wrote:

    A man died after he tried to break up a fight between two dogs and they turned on him instead, police said on Saturday.

    The death occurred on Friday evening as the man tried to stop two large Alsatian dogs fighting in the back yard of the house he shared with the animals’ owner in Blackpool, northern England.

    “In the process of trying to separate the dogs, both the dogs have turned and made a sustained attack on the gentleman inflicting numerous puncture bite marks on his upper body,” a Lancashire police spokesman said.

    Despite treatment from paramedics, the man died and a post mortem is now being held to determine the cause of death. The two dogs were put down by the authorities.

    It occurred to me that this is an exact paralell with some of the stuff the ChatGuides get to deal with in the chat forums.

    A couple of chatters start to fight and abuse each other – a Guide intervenes to try to restore calm – the chatters turn on and attack the Guide – they end up being booted.

    I wonder if there is a moral in this story somewhere???
