What on earth has happened to the room?
I just wish it would all go back to like it was when i first started here … everyone being nice , and getting on together .. having a laugh and joke, sometimes serious conversations and discussions, and debates …. even the odd party thrown in too !
Whilst i realise i am guilty of not iggying the insults that are thrown at me , i am , from now on , going to do my best not to rise to the bait of those that just seem to come in the lobby to slag people off and generally insult everyone.
Maybe if we all did that.. the room may go back to being a nicer place once again? :-k
Ok. Maybe i am getting old ( no comments please! :lol: ) or maybe i have too much time on my hands this afternoon .. but was just thinking about the time when …. Let’s see if any of you remember these…
When we had a party in the lobby … everyone doing that dance thing , can’t for the life of me remember what it’s called now … all in a line , everyone joining in , turning corners , some bumpining in to a tree on the way down that they didnt see – even though several others chatters were shouting out ” mind that tree! ” some in their pj’s even! who eventually had to leave to go and get changed because they were dripping wet :lol:
The times Dolly Day dream hid under the table when a certain chatter came in .. ohh how we would laugh at it all !
Come on , surely i am not the only one that would like that room back again ? :(

I ALWAYS MISS OUT!!!!!!
It was when we did the conga annette, I typed so furiously that night that I felt like I’d done the conga by the end of it! I mentioned it here
That was closely followed by the Ann Summers party, I vividly recall trying to replicate a scene from the Kama Sutra with someone who shall remain nameless (cos frankly I can’t remember who it was!) when we realised that the scene was physically impossible and the picture had too many legs!
And the times when we used to have a fancy dress party in the lobby, waiting to see who was going to come in as what.
And how could you forget my basque eve? black lace with red satin cups, but then Dave borrowed it and ruined the cups so he recupped it for me…the leather cups were never quite the same as the red satin though but I didn’t have the heart to tell him.
Do you think we could do that again, or are those days gone?
I dont know if they have gone but bring em back!!!

I will one day return the key to Badders fluffy pink handcuffs – I promise I promise! – can’t type for Welshy – she still has his whip, to my knowledge anyway!! :lol: :lol: :lol: (or was it Angeldust?!! eeks, forgotten, or maybe they both had one each?!) :D
sniff …… gutted not to be mentioned by thin ice ….. I am still a “nobody” in the room … sniff!

Yes that’s the one Jen Jen – the conga – was hilarious ! I remember sitting there watching it all in amazement how everyone all joined in , the whole room just taken up with the laughter and fun of it all… I clearly also remember me sitting there just watching and typing” lol” most of the time , as i couldnt keep up with it all and watching in awe, how all these people who, most of had never even met were having such a great time together.
Not sure it will come back though now . I think although the meets are good for some , in other ways it spoils it maybe, as some people are not as you expect them to be etc – and then familiarity creeps in. That coupled with the fact a lot of the “old regs” have left too :(
