I just want to say a few words in light of recent events and people leaving, fighting, backbiting but also behind all that there are some very caring people too xx

When i joined the message boards earlier this year, I was having some of the worst times in my life. Some of you on here know some of my story but there is without a doubt other stuff i did not impart .

The last six months have been sooooooo hard and sometimes i dont know how I have gotten through them.

But, I have to say a big thank you for Just chat and the message boards, in a way Just chat you have been my lifeline and i feel very sad that things are going the way they are going with freinds and people i like leaving. Yes there have been bad points on Just chat, but for me those early months they were good, and for the most part people have always been very kind to me and still remain so.

I will be the first to admit i havent liked some of the stuff that has gone on on these boards but how do you please all? how do you find that balance on a ‘free speech’ basis?

And PB? well PB you have been slighted on another thread but i want to thank you on a personal level cos you have always treated me with respect even when i have pm’d you with a little less than comfortable complaints (no folks i think i have only ever pm’d PB on 3 actual posts so i am not a serial complainer)

All in all what i would like to see is the boards thriving so that another person who maybe needs a lifeline at a particularly dark time in their lives as i did can benefit from them too. We all need something, the evidence is clear to see by some posters who say they dont know why some of us are so sad and come on here day after day and yet they are doing exactly the same….. these boards are addictive lol ……go on admit it.

what i would like to see is the boards to thrive again and i know there are enough like minded people left to want the same.
