Kenty I expected nothing less from you!
Of course you expected nothing less from me….of course….I mean….why on earth would I suggest you actually ask the people who double log in? I mean why would you do that? Its far better to say you’ve been using JC for 2 years (but forget to mention you are not as new to chat rooms as you use to be a moderator or guide in another room before JC)…..its far better to let the double loggers to know you know who they are by putting it on the boards so they can read it ….makes more sense to get your answers…..and all the replies are probably nothing you would have thought yourself…..
I’m sure you were inundated with replies in the room to help you understand your quandary……unless of course you simply pm’d these chatters….but maybe that’s too simple
All in all I’m sure you feel better now you know the reason (given by boardies who probably don’t log in)….after all JC isn’t your life…it means nothing to you….what’s that famous saying of yours? “you have no idea how much I ……”

6 February, 2017 at 8:52 am #1021157These posts made me laugh All been written within 50 minutes from the first one.
Well what made me laugh is you posted your reply a massive 24 minutes after the previous reply on this thread. You seem to spend far more time than me on these boards and judging by all your “room” comments you spend a hell of a lot of time in there. Just to keep you happy though and so you don’t cackle at me, am I best to ask you first when I can and can’t post?

6 February, 2017 at 12:54 pm #1021161Let me explain…… I have an instant ignore list, to stop any aggro toward myself and room disruption in general, I used to just use ignore, but now use “ignore by ip”, sometimes I will place a chatter on ignore and two names, totally different ones will go on ignore.
My rubbish attempt to analyze it, if it can be analyzed, would go like this. I don’t have a set pattern when I log into main chat and when I do log in, it is usually random and on the spur of the moment. Which can be anytime of the day or night. My experience based on that, is that there are usually the same one or two men, who spend far too much time on this site in JC3, than is healthy for them and is unhealthy for those they constantly target. JC really is their life. They scuttle about playing their mind games I assume, because it is the only mental stimulation they get in their lives. Like a job but without the pay and perks and interpersonal relationships.
I always iggy by IP but you have a redo it every time you log in and it is a pain in the arse when people are double logged on different IP’s. I have watched hosts boot them and they reappear minutes later in another name to goad the hosts and those they target/torment. When I am targeted I don’t tend to react or take it personal, or analyze why I am being targeted, I just iggy them immediately and then talk about them in the room, which drives them potty and is meant to. When the grown ups are in the room of course the chat is normal, these double logging misfits however are not normal and the only way they can be the center of attention, is by constantly creating conflict and tension.

6 February, 2017 at 5:10 pm #1021188I’m a new member but in other chat room I’ve found the same irritating problem. It’s a symptom of the e-age I’d say – where people can say they’re anyone, be anyone, they let their phoniness come out and don’t realize they affect people negatively. I really haven’t a clue why they do it, but in some cases maybe they really have a psych problem. In others, it could simply be shyness, but I doubt it. Seems they’re just dishonest I’m afraid. Too bad.
6 February, 2017 at 5:15 pm #1021189I’ve been a member here for just over 2 years and something is really baffling me. Now i’m not starting this topic to cause anyone to get irritated I just want to understand. Why do some people in chatrooms have 2 totally different names logged in at the same time? I know sometimes a name gets stuck so they will come back in with a modification of their chatname, that’s not what I mean. Let me explain…… I have an instant ignore list, to stop any aggro toward myself and room disruption in general, I used to just use ignore, but now use “ignore by ip”, sometimes I will place a chatter on ignore and two names, totally different ones will go on ignore. i’m not going to give examples because I don’t want people to think i’m “stirring”. but….. I have trouble sometimes keeping up in one name why on earth do people use two?
If it’s not a psych problem (split personality lol) then I assume they just don’t care how annoying is can be to people, and do as they please. It’s a symptom of the isolating e-age.
