You hoping that Poli never gets called up for Jury service on a case of sexual assult or rape is suggesting she is and would be incompetent in delivering a verdict you found right….that is quite personal……and although whilst I disagree with lots of Poli’s comments she seems to be forever having to defend what she posts on this topic…..and no, it’s not debate when one persons view is constantly put down or indeed a suggestion like jury service is brought into it

There have been differences of opinion on the thread but I am not sure it breaks down on male/female grounds at all. More than one of my female acquaintances first comments on this is how much it is all going to cost, and wondering whether front line Police time is the best spent looking into hundreds of allegations. That probably has more to do with the line of work they are in than the fact they are female.
There certainly hasn’t been hasn’t been any more or less sympathy here for the victims or Savile himself from women or men.

I’ve thought it’s been quite good as a debate. There have generally been fewer insults than on some other threads which can’t be bad.
I know it’s a sensitive subject, but equally I do think however Poli has suffered a bit of pretty personal stuff for saying things other people think are wrong.
Without contrary views, we’d all be ranting about the same things, and I couldn’t bear to think about poor Terry getting even more bored than he is now.
