I’m with Bat and Kenty on this one.
I’m also glad that our local Tesco banned people doing their shopping in their beach wear, bare feet or topless last summer…having seen a sweaty 70 year old man doing his shopping dressed only in speedos and flipflops, well enough said, you get the picture! The thought of people leaning over the fresh fruit and veg or the fresh bread half dressed and sweaty just made me shudder.

sounds sick but thats maybe because we live in a cold climate country(s) yet when we go abroad (spain or further) its completely natural to see men in shorts doing the shopping.

I wonder if global warming hits with a bang and it gets hotter here will we go around over here like we do in hot countrys on our holidays???

Indeed Bat, it wasn’t a pretty sight but then neither were some of the women wearing bikini tops that just about covered the important bits and skimpy shorts…I might wear those in the privacy of my own garden but not at the shops.

Lucy, I feel the same when I see it abroad. Wearing shorts when shopping isn’t a problem but not wearing a top is as far as I’m concerned. I don’t want drops of sweat or stray chest hairs on my fresh bread ty (and that’s just the women   ). It shouldn’t be too onerous to slip on a tshirt or a light shirt for doing your shopping surely…

Apparently in Dublin they have banned people from signing on for benefits who were turning up in their pyjamas.Do you think it shows a lack of self respect when you dont get dressed to go out, or should people be able to wear what they like, as having no respect for others is difficult when you have no respect for yourself.

I blame Colin Farrell, about a year or more ago (ACS ffs keep up with times please) Colin went to someones house in his PJ’s and since then it took off.

And its not just Dublin!!! Most Tesco stores in England have also stopped people coming in in their PJ’s.

I moved into the 21st century last year and got my first mobile phone.

I have to confess I have driven daughter to work in my pjs (I was in the pjs … we actually drove in the car) on an early weekend morning …. but I did have the good grace to put jeans and a sweatshirt on top!! Always used to hope and pray I wouldn’t have a crash and end up in hospital and have to explain myself!

I’m with daisy though … pjs are fabulous things and I love mine with all my heart :D
