Gitanes are still made, just not in France.

Funny cos according to google they’re still made in the Netherlands and it’s possible to buy them in the UK.
oh! well ya can’t get them in France anymore (or not meant to!) – was watching it on the news a while ago, in French, so maybe I may have misunderstood! lol

it was bound to be untrue :roll:I only googled it cos I saw someone smoking Gitanes last week and thought then that I hadn’t seen them for ages. It got me thinking about all the old brands that you don’t seem to hear of any more…not that I’m an expert, being a non-smoker! :lol:
