JC Awards

Ok chaps, it’s that time of year when folk vote for the man/woman of year of their professions and trades. So why should the BBC Sports Personality of the Year or the Comedy Awards have all the fun?

We can’t we put on our best virtual bib and tucker or party frock and vote for our JC peers?

So in order to get the ball rolling, ladies and gentlemen, i give you the JC- award for intellect of the year. Rather like the Nobel Peace Prize, except it’s completely different…… excuse me a moment whilst I get my letter knife to open the envelope and announce the nominees. If this goes well we can add more categories as we see fit, and I may fashion some sort of trophy from Plastecine.

A veritable renaissance man with an appropriate aphorism, literary quote, socio-political analysis or just downright common sense when you need it.

Asian Intelligent Females Only

A stickler for the finer points of grammar and a lover of the scroll. You might not share his opinion but, boy, is he going to express it, and he doesn’t care if you want to hear it or not.

One of the few bona fide published authors in JC and a wizard with the Commodore Pet computer. The self-publicized curator of the big lies website, his own peculiar brand of conspiracy theory politics.

Tea, sympathy and a sage word are always guaranteed with the delightful Mrs T and she makes sense too.
