If it,s gets ballsed up I know what will happen. I,ll spend hours on the phone to my “technical advisor” and I just know he,ll love that.

Oh Christ no !!! DON’T DO IT !!! I can’t bear another several hours of ”ooops did I click the wrong box” etc.

Just set fire to the bloody thing Bat and bury the burnt carcass in the garden.

its an “liveupdate”, just let it do it.

But if your computers over 3 years old, don’t.

The update is for newer computers with 2 cores

    Hi

You can go ahead and update – I did and all still works fine (forget doa’s mention of dual cores).

The point i was trying to make was: that these dam computer techs have the lastest computers and most updates are for the newer computers.

I have found most of the time there no point in updating old computers.

If only running with 128mb of ram and an old processer, there no point in loading in new software or updates that needs 256/512mb of ram to work.

If your computer is working ok without the update, why have it?

You know I was much happier when windows was only a 40 mb program,(its now 300mb) when office was only 20 mb.

I know it cost me less

An update was a news report !
