GREAT GAME BEST OF COMP SO FAR
was a great game all round, was great watching it over here with some of the family, made it more special
As you know I’m a Rugby fan rather than football but I was on the edge of my seat throughout this entire game. Tremendous skill demonstrated by all players. Passes done to perfection practically every time. and the last two goals were absolutely stunning.
Mrs PB is now in a state of hysterical ecstacy and the phone lines between my house and Italy have virtually melted.
Apparently the whole of both Milan and Turin has lit up with enormous fireworks displays going off and thousands of cars driving around the streets hooting like crazy. Reports from Rome, Florence, Naples and Sicily incoming as I type.
They really hate the Germans in Italy and this 2:0 result is seen as a total humiliation for the ”Tedeski”
NO MENTION OF ITALY BUYING GERMANY OFF THEN
Nah… the buggers would deny it anyway !!! Mind you I did hear that a certain German coach was threatened with a ”horses head” :wink: :wink:
Good stuff from Les Bleus.
Portugal are a pi.ss average team as well as a bunch of divers. Some of their dives were beyond belief.
