£4.3million awarded to former Manchester United youth player Ben Collett for a tackle which ended his career.

MoD civil servant got £202,000 for suffering back strain from lifting a printer.

It also detailed a £217,000 payout to another civil servant who had chronic fatigue syndrome and depression.

Both those vast sums follow a previous award of £485,000 to a Forces typist for injuring her thumb.

how much do you think this man got

Royal Marine Ben McBean lost half his limbs while serving in the Afghan badlands.

I think they weigh different things up.

I know the Man U boy was highly rated and expected to follow in the footsteps of the Man U youngsters of the 90’s. The 4.5 mil was a projected figure of his potential earnings.

what like a thumb and a leg and an arm

I think it still comes down to potential career earnings. It’s a no brainer that a Civil Servant and a potential Man U 1st team player will differ in that respect.

but where does the £400000+ for a typists thumb come in

    #372912

When she injured her Thumb she might have broken off her nail or something. Maybe she needed a Manicure or something to fix it.

didnt think of that and he’s got less nails than her now too

Ok dont guess how much he got see if i care

    I havent got a clue. I’ll take a guess at £160,000-£162,000.
