Her poor parents must be devastated.13 December, 2006 at 8:37 pm #253740that made me cry bat
what a horrific way to die for an adult let alone a baby
13 December, 2006 at 9:26 pm #253741I have not clicked on it, but I guess its about that little baby who was burnt?
They only just moved into that house a day or so before it happened, poor family.
I heard it on the radio today she passed away, and after following her story since it happened was gutted she never made it.
Another baby in heaven for christmas
13 December, 2006 at 10:34 pm #253742With a bit of luck the baby was asleep when it happened and so wouldn’t have felt the agony of being scalded to death.
I wonder how this happened? The story said that they were spending their first night in the house. Could it be that somebody turned off the cold water supply to the hot water tank when the house was previously vacated, and the new occupants didn’t turn it back on again – thus causing it to boil and rupture???

Sounds like it was probably that. Dont know who is to blame really, hope the young parents dont blame themselves. The Father even said the baby was burning his hands when he picked her up to save her. It really doesnt bare thinking about does it?
13 December, 2006 at 10:39 pm #253744It’s horrifying and must be every caring parent’s nightmare.
13 December, 2006 at 11:07 pm #253745she didnt die instantly PB , so even if she was asleep when it first landed on here , she would have still felt some pain , poor little mite , and to think how many sick, disgusting, evil ppl there are still living and breathing wheres the justice huh

I’m surprised the resident JC plumber hasn’t elightened you on this one PB, maybe Doa hasn’t seen this post yet? :-k
Seems like another case of useless council workers not carrying out the simple checks they should always do before a new tennant has moved in to the property.
