People like you shouldn’t have animals letting them suffer for your own conscience you have not a clueAgreed, as a pet owner to many in the past I understand where you are coming from. Perhaps some human animals should be put out of their misery for having no intelligence.
maybe we should start with you

Your right caz but i suppose someones gotta love her even if it is only herself.
I’m mad with myself actually for sinking to her level though tbh.
But i’m quite passionate about some things my animals being one of them and my sense of decency slipped. So i do actually apologise for such harsh words even though i believe they are true.6 April, 2008 at 10:11 am #323677@(f)politics? wrote:

Thats a different topic pats as far as i was aware when i used to hunt they needed controlling and it was how it was done wrongly or rightly, until with the ban i find out otherwise i stick by that,(not the class jollies of it necessarily because some of them are a right bunch of snobs, but the purpose behind it, and yes admittedly the galloping over fields on a horse is fun) that said though i think foxes are beautiful creatures in their own right, but i am not sentimental enough to not try and be involved in controlling them,i have seen first hand the devastation this animal can do , and as i said in that thread a rats an animal but i am sure pebbles and your self wouldn’t be happy if they shared your home and would do what is required to eradicate them, which would require shooting, catching and drowning or poisoning them, the same as it is kinder to put a loved pet or working animal out of its misery if that is what is beneficial to it, rather than the supposed sentimentality of it being kinder to let them suffer when most people, horse owners , vets know this is likely to be the animals outcome in the end anyway.
Also though i do love and respect most animals, i still eat them, i still wear leather shoes as do many so called “animal lovers” thats what i don’t get the hypocrisy of it all it’s ok to not put an animal suffering to sleep just in case it can be healed (which is pretty much a certain not! in this case with horses and broken limbs) and then go out in the leather shoes and handbag (which an animal had to be killed for ) and tuck into a sunday roast (again an animal had to be killed for), but thats deemed acceptable because its to feed a human being, can’t you see the quandry with that?
I know where your coming from though pats but its the bigger picture i’m on about. -
