RACE – http://www.askoxford.com/concise_oed/race_2?view=uk
4 “a group of people or things with a common feature”.
RACISM – http://www.askoxford.com/concise_oed/racism?view=uk
1 “the belief that there are characteristics, abilities, or qualities specific to each race”.
Its racist to believe the specific characteristics, abilities, or qualities of a group of people who share a common feature.
Am i right here? Doesnt seem so, doesnt seem that its racist to believe in the specific characteristics, abilities, or qualities of Leicester city football club, who share a common feature (stuffing f****t)
16 May, 2006 at 10:02 pm #218414Racism is abnormal behaviour which is why you’re so suited to it Emma. Nobody does abnormal like you. I bet you often get chased by men in white coats with giant butterfly nets.
16 May, 2006 at 10:04 pm #218415all this ism is a misnomer

Yes yes yes…but, do you believe in the specific characteristics, abilities, or qualities of a group of people who share a common feature?
And atleast -10/10 for the childish moderator who changed the thread title
(Thank you for the score – it’s always a pleasure to assist a fellow board user – Ed)
19 May, 2006 at 2:49 pm #218417On second thoughts Emmaflush – could you edit your post and change ”childish moderator” to ”Fascist moderator”. That would be more in keeping with your usual style.

:D You even admit your fascist, atleast your honest and dont hide behind lefty fascist “anti-fascist” propagandists.
Does it bother you that your a fascist?
19 May, 2006 at 3:15 pm #218419Ummmm…… er….. I am a confused Fascist. Perhaps there are too many types of ”fascist” flying around.
Can somebody enlighten me please? What is a ”lefty fascist “anti-fascist” propagandist” when he or it is at home???
If you could assist me in understanding this tripe maybe I could decide whether it bothers me to be a Fascist or not – as the case may be, er… I think.

Why do you wana know what “this tripe” is
A ”lefty fascist “anti-fascist” propagandist” are those at the stopthebnp or searchlight organisations (REAL SCVM). I give you anexample, one of their spokesman, a mr waymen bennet, was asked to give his thoughts about fascism on Talksports mike dickin programme a few weeks ago.
Just about everything he said, was intolerence of the far right/bnp, which is fascism, to make out that the far right/bnp were bad (thats his choice to do so).
When quizzed (rather pathetically by the presenter) about his fascist ways, he quickly reversed the conversation towards those he’s intolerant of.
A BNP spokeman rang in and asked him why 7 stopthebnp/searchlight protesters were arrested at a recent court hearing, his response was, “the bnp have criminals”
These lefty fascists are very good at avoiding the truth, and will stop at nothing to continue their fascist propagandist approach. I wouldnt be at all surprised if those 7 arrested were congratulated by new labour, the bbc and the crown prosecution service, the main people who wasted tax payers money taking the bnp to court.
So, do you like behaving like a fascist PB?
19 May, 2006 at 3:42 pm #218421You still haven’t described what fascism is Emma
If it’s intolerance – like you say – then surely everyone is intolerant of something – and therefore potentially fascist ???
