No, what I see is an old man with too much time on his hands and instead of contributing to thread topic resorts to his usual default setting of crying about trolling when 3 posters are contributing to a board discussion. I’d estimate 95% of your posts have no relevance to a topic other than filling your nappy up with threats to Martin / police over and over again hugs – people are bored of you and your police “trolling” .
Oh dear Oh dear more trolling and more spam and if you read your posts its you that is trying to monopolise the thread.
Dan tell us about your experience in the UK prison system please and what it is like in the “yards”?
Can you also share why you think the likes of Feltham in West London (young offenders) and one of the most violent prisons in the UK is just like a “Pontins holiday camp”?
By the way Ge. Rudeboy didn’t actually say prison was like Pontins he said Pontins was worse than prison.
“Jails need reforming instead of a watered down pontins holiday camp”
Clearly he thinks that prisons are watered down versions of Pontins.

5 August, 2018 at 4:48 pm #1101686i seen a programme where some person got a lot of physical abuse, but one day she defended her self from him, but accidently killed him, but morons was making her look bad, she got put in a cell to, how is that logical, so if some horrible person gets stopped, it means the person who stops them is bad, god it is like talking about someone saying someone is a troll, when all they do is defend there self, i was told a idiotic thing, well idiotic as the law is making it idiotic, but anyway i was told by some person, if i got hit i just should stand there and take it, yet if i defend my friend or and my self and accidentally kill the attacker, i get put in a cell, odd law in the uk, i heard someone who killed someone by accident, as he defended himself with a bar stool, he got locked up,
5 August, 2018 at 4:58 pm #1101691I’ve no interest in chatting shite on here all day
You could have fooled me.
Has anyone here been inside a modern prison?
I was in a high-security prison (as a non-inmate) over a period of time in the late 1990s – it didn’t strike me as a holiday camp. I wouldn’t choose to stay there.
The overcrowding in prisons ha reached danger proportions from what I hear – life for most prisoners is genuine hell..
That doesn’t mean to say that some don’t lord it over the others.
It also doesn’t mean that the prisons are places where people don’t learn to commit crimes more efficiently next time, and not get caught.
But all that suggests prisons reform rather than amputations and executions.

Hugs i’ll keep it brief, as you probably know that just isn’t factual. Some open prisons may well come close to what Pontins was like, in the 60s. The rest of the prison system is nothing like Pontins. Other than that it is just hysterical hyberbole straight from the pages of the Daily Mail.
Violence in prisons has rocketed. Suicide in prisons has rocketed. Prisons are used to warehouse the mentally ill and have been for decades. Two or three prisoners in older prisons are caged in cells designed for one. Including eating and using the toilet. 23 hour bang up (locked in a cell) is the norm in a lot of prisons and particularly due to staff cuts/austerity etc.
There is no evidence harsher conditions and sentences deters criminals. While the reasons for criminality are complex, poverty and deprivation, mental health issues and drug addiction feature prominantly.

Again you’re clueless- what are horrendous conditions to you or me doesn’t translate to the same thing to a mindless junkie meeting up with all his old friends again on the wings. I’ve been in modern prisons twice 2000 and 2005 – most in there have a large network of associates/friends and see it as a game rather than punishment. Modern prisons have pool tables, table tennis , ” , films on a Sunday of choice streamed to tvs in the cell ffs.
If jails are so awful , why do over 50% re offend when coming out? It’s clearly not working is it despite your insinuations of these horrific Alcatraz conditions. I know when I was in, “burn” as they call it is viewed as gold dust ( tobacco ) with smoking rife or was 13 years ago.. perhaps you can delve into your great history of experiences to explain why some of the worst scum of the earth should be smoking/ playing pool all day?
Incidentally you can get jailed for not paying council tax so this idea of people in prison being “gangsters ” is bollocks from people with no clue what they are talking about. Most are barely literate with drugs issues and as far removed from being a “gangster” as you are from being Don Juan.

You are talking about what you see on tv , what’s your experience ” Ge” ? 23 hour lock down is just bollocks as most have jobs on the wings – stop watching tv shows for all your info as it’s rubbish. Every evening you get whats called association for around 2 hours where you have free reign to wander about the wing and this doesn’t include jobs, hours exercise each day, courses etc etc.
I’m still waiting for someone to answer if jail conditions are so horrific why do over half come back ?
5 August, 2018 at 5:18 pm #1101701Mr Google is clueless. While he talks in that gangster spew of his. In one breathe he describes “burn” as “gold dust” when in fact it was the norm and used normally as currency, often by organized gangs who can and do manipulate others via any debt. Now it is more likely to be Spice(etc) SIMs/mobile phones and phone cards and even tins of tuna etc. Then he describes “drug addicts” and “non council tax payers” and people who are barely “literate” as the scum off the earth. This nugget needs to meet the scum of the earth inside prisons to know what they are and exactly what they are capable off.

You talk complete and utter tosh and regurgiatating what you read in the Daily Mail adds no authenticity whatsoever.
Anyone familiar with the current prison regime under this tory government knows that for example 23 hour bang up due to staff cuts is leading to major incidents that this government are keeping hushed up.

The only one talking about gangsters is you soft lad. You may know forest bank as it’s up your neck of the woods- unlike you I’ve been in , you on the other hand are talking out of your arse using google yourself. The comment refers to anyone capable of being jailed numbnuts , they dont need to be a gangster- even a soft fat sap like you could find yourself behind bars. Granted you would be battered to a pulp in there but at least you may know what you are talking about. ” 23 hour lockdown ” you clueless mug lol, go back to googling.
5 August, 2018 at 5:25 pm #1101706British young offenders have suffered “inhuman and degrading treatment” due to being locked up for nearly 24 hours at a time, in breach of the European Convention on Human Rights, a damning new report has warned.
Published by the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture (CPT), which is part of the 47-nation Council of Europe, the report raised “deep concerns” about violence, overcrowding and solitary confinement in both Young Offenders Institutions (YOIs) and adult prisons.
etc.
