Exactly Pete.. Like Chickens, pigs, etc, they’re not bred to be pets, ok some people may keep a few for pets, but it’s the way of the world, we breed them, we kill them, we eat them, race them,.. (Ps, i’ve never raced a Chicken or pig by the way)..
If people disagree with Animals being bred purely for the purpose of sports, then they’re allowed that opinion. (We’re all different).. I’d rather be mad at the fact that kids are being brought into the world purely for the purpose of sex, slave labour, and so on..
if they didn’t race horses we would be probably eating them

No they dont racehorses are bred to race… with no breeding there’d be no race horses. You cant just release a horse into the wild to fend for itself. Breeding costs money.. stud farms cost money and want a profit, they arent doing it cause they think horses are cute

no but they should be allowed to be wild. n some ppl do keep them as pets
I’ve been involved in a row abt this before so think i’ll keep my head down on this one, but pete’s right Will they wouldnt exist if it wasnt for racing the blood lines are thoroughly worked out and horses put to stud to produce the ultimate race horse, they are bred specifically for this. They are hot blooded creatures not your average family pony or hack it would be almost as cruel to have one as a “pet” as it is for them to have their first race and break a leg and be shot, they are bred to race, and run and jump it is what they are. Also to try and release a racehorse into the wild would end up in alot of their deaths anyway, as i said their breeding lines doesn’t make them the average wild horse that can withstand the harsh realities of weather and having to look for food to sustain them, there high metabolism doesnt make them “good doers” and alot of them would starve and fall down with illness. So yes if racing wants to be stopped for cruelty fine leave the wild horses that can deal with it where they are and don’t breed the racehorses but as pete said all those horses wont exist anyway.
