I shall make a start anyway by deleting certain “friends” from certain sites… they know who they are.

Er….. you don’t need to do this bit dear – my user name appears in Green at the bottom of the page all the time I’m signed in. Only so-called “invisible” user’s names don’t appear at the bottom of the page.
