Gerrard will leave before benitez does!
yes gerrard is a good player but he wont have it for long
the fans will stick by him and they have done and will do for a while, a trophy a season is good enough for the fans who go week in week out
13 November, 2006 at 6:33 pm #245794I understand what you are both saying (Token and Rob) But……….. his heart is at Liverpool, Benitaz’s isnt. What would the Liverpool board rather have…….. lose a class player like Stevo, or boot out the Manager? I hope for their sakes its the latter as I hate to see any team suffer because of crappy management, especially a team of Liverpool quality. (Bar yesterdays result of course  )

This rotating system started this year, so I doubt that they will win anything as there players are lacking confidence in case they are dropped from the next match. He is trying to do a Chelsea, but Chelsea have 3 squads to choose from. Liverpool do not have the money to take SUCH a risk, and from now onwards, it could cost them dearly! If you take a look on there official site, then you will see that they are in full support of Gerrard, more than there manager, as they are worried for there future as contenders! If Gerrard leaves, then mark my words it will be on the manager for it. He is making awful player decisions, and just because he has won the Champions League, etc, doesn’t make him untouchable, which he probably thinks due to this policy he has given Liverpool.

of course he is . he is the one who lead them to be the champions of europe. with a worse domestic record than they have now.
who else woulod be good enough?
21 November, 2006 at 7:43 pm #245797I watched the match on sunday and we were really slow to start…………..our passing was indecisive…………..we couldnt thread the balls threw like normal…………..our defence was at sixes and sevens……………
In fact we were dire and poor……………….gerrard in the wrong position again…….
We then woke up and played better in the second half…………….but unfortunately woodgate, schwazzer, and one or two others had a good game and kept middlesborough in the game…..
We actually looked like scoring when Crouch came on………………
Rightly or wrongly we need to find the best team to put out and keep it……………get some points on the board…………….
I sometimes wonder if Benitez actually knows what is best team is??/
But we will see what happens by the end of the season…………….most fans are backing him………….. at the moment I would say the jury is out…………..

so what will convince you at the end of the season?
liverpool cannot win the league now (mathematically yes they can obviously but realistically nope)
so what will make a red fan happy at the end of the season??
3rd? 4th? champions league again? uefa spot?
fa cup?22 November, 2006 at 5:27 pm #245799@token_male wrote:
